Claudia Loro expresses her art through drawing and painting, in a continuum that allows you to see the graphic sign in the painting and the accurate and probing tract in drawings in pencil and charcoal.

 

Two are the subjects: animals and children, maybe due to the remarkable resemblance between these living beings: free and spontaneous, animals and children are immortalized in poses that enhance not only the external features but also and especially the inner ones. So the fierce and distant look of the tiger communicates, at a point, with the one of the Indian kid, freezed in a moment of his life, in his natural environment, in his own gestures.

 

And especially to India, are devoted a good part of the portraits of children. That positive and smiling India, ancient and even proud of its contradiction, experienced by Claudia during her many journey in that country. Every time bringing with herself a part of that fascination, becoming a part of it and starting to communicate it to the world through her artistic expression.

Claudia Loro esprime la sua arte tra disegno e pittura, in un continuum che permette di scorgere il segno grafico nel dipinto ed il tratto preciso ed indagatore nei disegni a matita e carboncino.

 

Due i soggetti: bambini ed animali, forse per la straordinaria somiglianza tra questi esseri viventi: liberi e spontanei, animali e bambini vengono immortalati in pose che ne esaltano non solo i tratti esteriori ma anche e soprattutto quelli interiori; così lo sguardo fiero e lontano della tigre comunica, a qualche livello, con quello del bambino indiano, fermato in un momento della sua vita, nel suo ambiente naturale, nei gesti che gli appartengono.

 

E, proprio all’India, è dedicata buona parte dei ritratti di bambini. Quell’India solare e sorridente, antica e fiera persino delle sue contraddizioni, che Claudia ha vissuto nei suoi numerosi viaggi, riportando ogni volta con sé una parte di quel fascino, fino a farlo proprio ed a trasmetterlo al mondo attraverso la sua arte.
