Akher, in ancient Egypt, was the god who personified the horizon: through the doors of Akher, the Sun came every evening in the gallery that ran through the underworld to return to rise the morning after. This transformation, increased by the symbols composed by the sphere of the Sun flanked by two lions, representation of the elapsed time (yesterday) and the current (today), is the basis of Claudia Loro's pictorial work. Akher, showcased by Orfane30 in Turin, is a collection of looks, sometimes human, sometimes animal, that scan the horizon not only with the intention to perceive the change but also to interact, changing the reality in a sort of quantum entanglement.

Inspired by the research of Masaru Emoto on the "memory of water" in which the Japanese scientist theorizes the opportunity to interact with water crystals through thought, modifying the shape and the symmetry, Claudia Loro realizes ten 48 × 66 cm plates, made in pencil and charcoal, carrying the observer in a stream of waves constantly changing, creating a link between the eye of the watcher and the "virtual" look depicted in the paintings.

In addition to the painted panels will be available for each subject, 12 prints in limited edition, signed and numbered  based on Chine-Collé, Acquaforte, Acquatinta su Graphia naturale 300gr. steel plate size 55x40cm, sheet size 70x50cm.

Akher, nell’antico Egitto, era la divinità che personificava l’orizzonte: attraverso le porte di Akher il Sole entrava, ogni sera, nella galleria che attraversava il mondo sotterraneo per tornare a sorgere il mattino seguente. Questa trasformazione, accentuata dalla simbologia che vedeva la sfera del Sole affiancata da due leoni, rappresentazione del tempo trascorso (ieri) e quello attuale (oggi), è alla base dell’opera pittorica di Claudia Loro. Akher, in mostra da Orfane30 a Torino, è una collezione di sguardi, a volte umani, a volte animali, che scrutano l’orizzonte non solo con l’intento di percepire il cambiamento ma anche di interagire, modificando la realtà in una sorta di entanglement quantistico.

Ispirandosi agli studi di Masaru Emoto sulla “memoria dell’acqua”, in cui lo scienziato giapponese teorizza la possibilità di interagire con i cristalli d’acqua attraverso il pensiero, modificandone la forma e la simmetria, Claudia Loro realizza 10 tavole cm 48x66, realizzate a matita e carboncino, che trasportano l’osservatore in un flusso di onde in costante mutazione, realizzando un collegamento tra lo sguardo di chi osserva e lo sguardo, virtuale, raffigurato nei dipinti. Oltre alle tavole dipinte saranno disponibili, per ogni soggetto, anche 12 stampe in tiratura limitata, firmate e numerate, realizzate con la tecnica Chine-Collé, Acquaforte, Acquatinta su Graphia naturale 300gr.
